Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

This is a starting-point template, not legal advice — have it reviewed by a professional before you launch.

This policy explains what CyberWise collects, why, and who helps us process it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. What we collect

  • Account: your email address (and a name, if you provide one), from signing in with a one-time email link.
  • Purchase: payment is handled by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and customer reference — we never see or store your full card details.
  • Learning progress: which lessons you’ve marked complete, so we can show your progress.
  • Analytics: if enabled, privacy-friendly, aggregate usage stats (no cross-site tracking).

2. How we use it

To provide and secure your account, give you access to the course, process your purchase, send essential service emails (like your sign-in link), and improve the course.

3. Processors we rely on

  • Stripe — payments.
  • Resend — transactional email (sign-in links).
  • Google Cloud — hosting, database, and file storage.
  • Plausible — privacy-friendly analytics, only if enabled.

4. Cookies

We use an essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising cookies; our analytics (when enabled) is cookieless.

5. Retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time — email support@example.com and we’ll help.

6. Children

The Service isn’t directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll note material changes and update the date above.
